Frank uses the Outdoor Active App for his hike planning. Currently due to too much hiking and an aversion to office work, he only published his Fall 2017 hikes in the App. You can also install the free Outdoor Active App and once you created an account, follow the link listed with each hike (Fall 2017), view the map, download the gpx file and select "join" or "observe" . Become part of the conversation in the WhatsApp group.
About our integration with OutdoorActive platform and their free App; Simply follow the link of any hike you are interested in and you will find a description of the tour. Unesco Geo trail Dolomites Italy,
Last June Philomena and I visited the new UNESCO Dolomites World Heritage Permanent Exhibition in the Nature Park House in Toblach/South Tirol. During our visit Ruth Mutschlechner generously let us borrow the just published trail package for the Dolomites Unesco Geotrail. It explained in detail the origin and formation of the Dolomites through the geological ages and included 2 maps of all 10 stages. Of course I was hooked and vowed to hike this 200km trail and although we already did many parts of these mountain trails in the past, this adventure promised to help me fully understand my favourite hang out.
Download PDF file of Introduction and Stage 1 that we will be hiking again in 2020, at this link : Unesco Geotrail
Maps and descriptions can be found at the Alpenverein website and the free APP allows you can even download it all on your phone or tablet.
Meet you along the way!

I have to confess that towards the end of September I will be staying in an apartment.
